'Guwarrawarr' means green. This artwork shares aspects of community and the land. The centre of the artwork reflects a community with the design either side illustrating rivers. It also includes Aboriginal symbols which shows a connection to the land and the culture and knowledge held within the land itself.
A u-shape is used to symbolise people as it is the mark that would be left behind on the land after sitting cross-legged around a campfire.
