'Yanaanhi'

Limited edition prints/56

'Yanaanhi' means to walk and this artwork represents a journey across and a deep connection with Nullawa (the land).

The white line throughout this artwork represents a journey. The circles follow along to show that a journey is not always linear and the importance of pausing and taking in all of life and what is has to offer. This journey is surrounded by aspects of the land which represents that by admiring and respecting the land around us we are able to find more connection. The three full colour circles reflect the growth we do as individuals with the support of our friends, family and community. The u-shapes are used as it is the mark that would be left behind after sitting cross-legged around a campfire.

Across the bottom and top are mountains and an undulating landscape showing the ups and downs of life. The river flows through alongside eucalypt leaves; this represents new life and the importance of caring for our land to sustain it for our future generations.

The background is filled with wildflowers illustrating the beauty of the landscape and the native blossoms. The detailed dotwork reflects the intricacies of the land.

Your limited edition print of 'Yanaanhi' will be one of 56.  All prints come numbered and cotton rag prints are embossed with my logo to certify their authenticity. A signed Certificate of Authenticity and representation will be supplied with each limited edition print. These are printed as they are ordered so please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for delivery of cotton rag orders and up to 4 weeks for canvas orders. If you are purchasing a floating framed print, please allow up to 5 weeks for delivery as the frames are sustainably made by a small business, Studio Martha Margarete, using recycled timber - your Burruguu Art piece will be fine framed and kind to the land. These framed artworks will come ready to hang on your wall. The prices include FREE SHIPPING within Australia and are packed with care in acid free paper and shipped in a mailing tube (unless you've purchased a framed piece, they will come framed and professionally packaged).

The sizes for the fine art prints on cotton rag are A3 (29.7cm x 42cm), A2 (42cm x 59.4cm) and A1 (59.4 x 84.1cm). The sizes include the 3.5 centimetre white border and they are scanned at high resolution, printed on 310gsm Canson Photo RAG with 12 colour pigment ink.  These standard sizes are helpful when it comes to getting your print framed.  Canvas prints are printed on 450gsm Breathing Color Lyve Canvas with archival standard inks and the sizes 500x750mm and 666x1000mm have an added edge to stretch for framing. Cotton rag prints are for you to frame behind glass and canvas prints are for you to have stretch framed (option of timber floating/box frame).

Thank you so much for your support and I am sure you will love your artwork.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS –

Take care in handling your new print as the paper (cotton rag especially) is very receptive to oils, dirt and moisture from your skin. We recommend leaving prints rolled until framing. If you do need to open your print please ensure your hands have been washed and dried thoroughly and handle the print as little as possible. Avoid creases or dents on the prints. Avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
